Cancellation policy

Our cancellation policy

Unexpected things happen in life and plans may need to change. We appreciate if any changes or cancellations are made as early as possible.

We want the opportunity to rent out activities to others who are waiting and also reduce food waste if fewer guests show up to eat.

We understand that life gets in the way and you may not always have time to cancel in advance – but please let us know anyway. We’ll always find the best solution!

Below are some rules to keep in mind when booking at Birka Bowling.

Companies

Fewer than 30 people

  • Cancellations made later than 3 business days before the event will be charged 100%.
  • Adjustments to the number of participants can be made up until the same day.
  • A 10% no-show on site is accepted. Anything beyond that will be charged 100%.

 

More than 30 people

  • Cancellations made later than 5 business days before the event will be charged 100%.
  • Adjustments to the number of participants can be made up until the same day.
  • A 10% no-show on site is accepted. Anything beyond that will be charged 100%.

Private guests

  • Cancellations must be made no later than 4 hours before your visit.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours must be made by phone.

If you fail to cancel:

  • The first missed cancellation will result in your email being flagged and you’ll receive a warning.
  • After the second missed cancellation, online booking will be disabled for your email.

Cancellation policy for VIP Lounge and Birka Social Room

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged 100% of the room rental.
  • To cancel a VIP Lounge booking, please email us.
  • Changes in the number of guests do not matter, as the room is booked by the hour.
